Elaine Jackson

Co-Editor (Production) of 'Ergonomics Abstracts'

 

Elaine has been involved with the production of Ergonomics Abstracts since April 2006.  She read English Literature and Language at the University of Birmingham where she also completed her PhD thesis on the production and distribution of romance novels of the inter-war period.  Her main research interest is the history of publishing and book production. Prior to joining EIAC, Elaine worked on the British Book Trade Index: an on-line database of people working in the book trade in England and Wales up to 1851.  She also undertook research into on-line resources for the Department of English and is currently a tutor for the University of Warwick’s Centre for Lifelong Learning, teaching literature, genre fiction, and book history.
