These are some of the pictures taken during construction. The first one shows the plastic sheet with the wired components fitted to it.. My cylinders are a patch work quilt of pieces of brass shim but they work ok. The feeder wire for the top cylinder is shown down the center but the feeder wire for the bottom cylinder is on the other side ½  inch from the edge.

This is the antenna under test , note the top cap for weather sealing the pipe..

 

 

This is the antenna finally mounted on the house on a separate toilet pipe assembly from the real one which is painted red next to it. As I can walk up onto my garage roof it makes it easy to change it. The rubber sealing rings are removed from the pipe flanges so the antenna just drops on. The joints of the shaped pipe which gets the mast around the eaves are screwed together for strength. It is important that the feeder comes down vertical and is secured.
