REVISION HISTORY This file enumerates any major changes from version 090902. Version numbers are specified as . Ver. Description _____________________________________________________________________________ 110100 First public beta release. 090902 Lots of changes. Restructured many of the classes and added: - Hardware warping using OpenGL - Automatic model truncation using parallel analysis - Support for colour images Actually, this release has to many changes from the last public release to mention them here. But in short, it is cleaner, more stable and accurate plus a lot faster the previous releases :-) 100902 The AAM-API is now a library project. See the aamc project and /doc/o1) howto make a new aam-api project.txt Some minor changes and bug-fixes. 101802 Organised the AAMC project into folders. Misc. bug-fixes. 012003 Fixed up the evaluation code (now placed in CAAMTest). Rewrote most of the CAAMMultiScale class (now derived from CAAMModel). Improved the documentation a lot. Finally got around to put the project into CVS. Added more sub-modes to the pyramidal console option, 'p' (however the multi-scale implementation is still experimental and can easily be cleaned up a lot by factorising stuff out...). The API is now packaged by the cool Nullsoft installer, NSIS. IMPORTANT: The binary model format has changed, so please rebuild your models. 012103 Easier and better installation. API-paths are now being added by the installer. The binaries now runs *without* installation of VisSDK. However, VisSDK is still needed if the API is going to be modified or rebuilt. Further, IPL is no longer needed to run the AAMLab. Misc. AAMLab bug-fixes. 042403 Better evaluation statistics and output. Included an overlap performance measure (makes only sense for single closed contours). Minor overall changes. Bug-fixes in the initialisation code. Experimental support for AAM sequences. AAMLab now handles concave shapes. New license. 010506 Various minor changes throughout the code. All CVS tags have been frozen since the previous release. This is the last snapshot having project files for Microsoft Studio 6.0. The next snapshot will have identical code, but it will sport Visual Studio 2005 .NET project files along with updated 3rd party libraries (conforming to the .NET way of seeing things). Debug builds are now included. 120506 First version compiling under Microsoft Visual C++ 2005. No new functionality has been added. See the AAM homepage regarding the use of the Microsoft Vision SDK modified to work under MSVC 2005 if you need to rebuild/edit the AAM api. ___________________________________ $Revision: 1.14 $ $Date: 2003/04/24 11:25:32 $
