WearCAM

Pictures taken with the wearable imaging device. The picture shown on the right shows my bench inspection. This is where one is marked for progress etc. Running a presentation and a short demo, non-specialist judges mark your work accordingly. Many students find this and intimidating experience. However, each action has an equal and opposite reaction, so I figured, why not intimidate them?? So I filmed them for the duration of my presentation which was run on the wearable, with the wearable!

V3 (x3)

Pictures of the next generation Wearable, V3 (x3). As you might have already discovered this wearable is now called the CHI-3 (x3) which is really just a name. However, it encompasses all of the improvements deemed necessary following the Rome field trial, and the children as photographers.

Shiny, want one?

Vision Cube Project

The Vision Cube project, a project created to allow groups of people to survey data and images such as round a conference table, or in a field trial situation.

Build Your Own Wearable

Here is a brief set of stages one needs to go through to make your own wearable, just like ours. In the coming weeks there will be more information like this. Unfortunatley, not everyone has a spare 50,000 Pound CNC milling machine, with skilled staff. What am I saying? neither will we soon...

Set the machine off, make yourself a drink, sit back and wait..... and wait.....

Rome Field-Trial

The Rome field trial offered a great insight into the capabilities, and ruggedness of our existing system. This proved that the technology was capable of functioning in the VERY HOT and dusty environments.

Damn its hot! 40 C, the label says not, but our machines still washable, ..I mean Wearable!

Wearing it, are you mad?

3 Years of painstaking research, broken knuckles, marriages and sweat. James still has never worn any of the wearable kit. Well, that had to change. Here are a collection of photos we took outside on a sort of nice summer day. Curtesy of Miss sorry (Dr.) Moody!

Well someone has got to do it.
