IEE Eurowearable - Wearing Our Digital Future

 

It has been the goal of these workshops to bring together local talent and industries. Eurowearable 2002 saw more than 100 delegates from industry and the research sector. The venue was fantastic and the day went by without any major technical hitches. The quality of the speakers their presentations and their work, was far better than we could have possibly anticipated. We have grown from about 30 people to over 100 in just one year. We really felt that the quality of work was top notch and we hope to put Europe at the top when it comes to wearable systems research.

This is one of the exhibits at HP Labs. It was a game. It was won by those who actually designed the thing. Can't help thinking it was rigged!   Lots of people enjoyed playing with the exhibits. These headphones give them each a different experience depending on where they walk. Very cool!
