Research Projects
Here is a brief list of Research projects that I have
supported
Anechoic Chambers for use between 1 & 76 GHz , both
" Walk in " and " Table Top " designs .
Forward scatter radars from low VHF ( 80 MHz ) through
VHF & UHF up to around 6 - 9 GHz Ultra wideband both hardware construction
and also as a " Target " during trials .
13 GHz Direct Digital Synthesiser for Automotive
collision avoidance radar ( Final Frequency of 76 GHz ) together with
associated power supplies to enable use on 12 & 24 volt vehicle power
systems.
Numerous " patch " aerials covering the
frequency range 1 GHz to 63 GHz including " On Body " types .
Wireless LAN & WiMax amplifiers with up to 20 watts
output in a range of configurations including " Doherty "
configuration .
Weather
Station for local monitoring of weather conditions by the roof top
laboratories with historical
data in CSV format .
